Not only M2A2 Bradley: the U.S. may transfer the Stryker BMP to Ukraine

The other day the United States announced the transfer of the M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine. As it turned out, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may receive another American model of BMP - Stryker.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the publication Politico. If the supply of Stryker will be approved, the BMPs will be included in the new package of US military assistance. It should be announced at the end of next week.

Flashback

The Stryker is a family of wheeled armored fighting vehicles produced by the American company General Dynamics Land Systems. The Stryker is based on the Canadian LAV III armoured personnel carrier, which is an upgraded version of the Swiss Piranha III 8×8 armoured personnel carrier. The BMP has many modifications and is produced since 2002.
