Baykar develops KAGEM Kamikaze: the company's first kamikaze drone, it will be paired with Akinci and Bayraktar TB2 UAVs

Turkish company Baykar is developing its first kamikaze drone.

Here's What We Know

The novelty was spotted in the manufacturer's brochure at IDEX 2023 in the United Arab Emirates. The drone will be called the KAGEM. The device will be a barraging munition that can be launched from another aircraft. For example, the Akinci UAV or Bayraktar TB2.

It is rumoured that the KAGEM's warhead will have up to 10kg of explosives. The drone will be able to hit targets at a distance of up to 50-60 km. Incidentally, Baykar plans to create a platform that will allow the kamikaze drone to be launched from an aircraft in the future. No word yet on when KAGEM will be officially released.
