The first Lenovo ARM notebook on Windows 10 appeared in Geekbench

In early December, Microsoft and Qualcomm announced "permanently connected" laptops on the mobile ARM-chip Snapdragon 835 - transformer Asus NovaGo and hybrid HP Envy x2. At the event, we never saw the Lenovo model, but the Chinese manufacturer does not abandon its plans and has already tested the novelty in benchmarks.

What is known?

In the Geekbench database, the laptop is listed as Lenovo CB-01. It will be available in two versions with 4 GB or 8 GB of internal memory. The heart of the gadget will also be the eight-core Snapdragon 835 processor, and a special version of Windows 10 for ARM-architecture supports the launch of classic applications in the emulator (the first laptops come with Windows 10 S, which allows to download software only from the Windows Store).

As for the appearance, Microsoft has already flashed a novelty in its promorick. As attentive users have noticed, the keyboard in the frame is identical to that used in Lenovo Yoga line-up notebooks. The device will also receive a touch screen with thin frames and digital pen support.

Apparently, the announcement of the ARM-laptop Lenovo will take place in the near future. The price of information is not yet available. Rumors also report that computers with Snapdragon chips are being prepared by Samsung and Xiaomi.
