Olympus announced a retro-camera with support for 4K-video

In 2016, a camera Olympus PEN E-PL8 format Micro Four Thirds, now the company is going to release a compact mirrorless with replaceable optics Pen E-PL9.

The camera received a retro style from its predecessor. It is equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor, TruePic VIII processor, autofocus with 121 points and a 3-axis image stabilization system. Iron allows you to shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second, and serial shooting will reach a speed of 8.6 fps.
To exchange images directly with the smartphone there is built-in Bluetooth, in addition, it supports Wi-Fi. As for the dimensions, the size of the camera is small - 117.1 x 68 x 39 mm, and the weight is only 380 grams with a battery and a memory card.

When to expect

Olympus Pen E-PL9 will be released in March 2018 for 549 euros and for 699 euros with a 14-42 mm F3.5-5.6 EZ Pancake lens included. The camera will be available in white, black and brown colors.
