The first HTC Vive Pro went to the developers of video games

HTC began distributing the updated VR-device Vive Pro to software developers.

What is known

For the first time HTC Vive Pro was shown on CES 2017, where the company told about the improvements. For example, added support for Steam VR 2.0, and the resolution of the screens increased to 2880 × 1600.

The devices are not yet on sale, but some developers have got HTC Vive Pro for work. So, the creators of Job Simulator and Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality - Owlchemy Labs bragged about this on their Twitter account. Perhaps, the studio will develop exclusive games to start selling the device.
