Insiders report that the 16GB RAM version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available only in several Asian countries, including China, India, South Korea, and Vietnam. However, Samsung may later expand the sales geography of this version.
In most countries, the Galaxy S25 Ultra models with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage will only come with 12GB of RAM. All Ultra variants are expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite For Galaxy chip.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra was Samsung's first phone with 16GB of RAM. However, Samsung stopped offering 16GB of RAM on its phones after the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

All Galaxy S25 models may receive Snapdragon 8 Elite. Previously, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ were rumoured to be powered by the Exynos 2500 chip in most regions. However, due to the low yield of suitable chips, Samsung was forced to use Snapdragon 8 Elite globally.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 series on 22 January. Deliveries may begin on 3 February, and the smartphone will be available in stores on 9 February.
