Rumours: the beta test of the shooter Marathon may start in May-June
Immediately after Marathon's presentation, the shooter's authors launched registration for the game's closed alpha testing, but it is only for residents of the United States and Canada, so players began to wonder when the game's testing will be more extensive and we already have hints about it.
Here's What We Know
Bungie confirmed that the closed alpha will last from 23 April to 4 May, but immediately after that, a mysterious line of text with different characters appeared on the Discord server, but there were three letters in front of them: "Bet".
Players have already begun to build theories that this is a hint of an open beta for everyone, which may begin shortly after the end of the alpha. Probably, everyone will be able to get acquainted with Marathon in May-June.
Marathon will be released on 23 September 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. More details about the game will be revealed in the summer.
As a reminder, Bungie has confirmed that the shooter Marathon will be a paid game, but cheaper than $70.
