Marvel Rivas now allows you to set custom colours for clothes, but you have to pay for it

NetEase Games has introduced a new feature in Marvel Rivals called "Costume Customisation", which allows players to customise the colour combinations of different character outfits. The feature is available in the Costumes tab and was made available in an update released today.

However, this update faced criticism from the community after NetEase explained on X (formerly Twitter) that the feature would not be free. Instead, players must pay 600 Unstable Molecules to use the special colours. These can be exchanged in Lattice at a 1:1 rate, which means that 600 Lattice (approximately $5.98 in real money) are required. Before accessing this feature, players must have a costume that supports the customisation.
Fans have expressed disappointment as this adds an extra charge on top of the cost of the basic costumes. NetEase noted that only a few costumes currently support colour customisation, although more will be added over time. Customised colours will also appear during introductory animations, MVP highlights, and emotes.
