It seems that fans of the Faraway Galaxy have a reason to be cautiously optimistic about the long-awaited Star Wars Eclipse. Although new details about the game are still scarce, the official Twitter account of the project has finally spoken up, hinting at an upcoming appearance at an event as early as 2027.

Here's What We Know

The first tweet from @StarWarEclipse contains the following message: "Hey everyone, long time no see," which instantly sparked a wave of speculation among fans about a possible future announcement. Later, the account encouraged fans to sign up for updates on the game's official website to avoid missing important information.

After Star Wars Celebration 2025, which recently took place in Japan, it was officially announced that the next major event for Star Wars fans will be held in Los Angeles from 1 to 4 April 2027. And it was the Star Wars Eclipse account that confirmed that the game will be presented at this event.

Star Wars Eclipse is being developed by Quantic Dream, a studio known for its narrative interactive cinema games with a branching plot, such as Detroit: Become Human and Beyond: Two Souls. However, Star Wars Eclipse will be a more traditional game, but complex stories, action, and player choice will play an important role.

The game was first announced in 2021 and has been in production hell for some time, and we shouldn't expect the project to appear until 2027.
