Crash Bandicoot lives on: Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fuelled has sold over 10 million copies

Despite the fact that Crash Team Rumble is barely staying afloat and Crash Bandicoot 5 is rumoured to be cancelled, the franchise about the beloved bandit continues to show some success. The real triumph was Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, which, according to the official Twitter account of the series, has sold more than ten million copies worldwide.
Here's What We Know
Launched in 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, the game is a remaster of the original 1999 Crash Team Racing, Naughty Dog's answer to the kart racing genre with the characters from the series. However, Beenox did not just update the graphics: the studio integrated content from the sequels Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Tag Team Racing.
In addition to significantly redesigned graphics, the game has received several important innovations. These include online multiplayer, new cut scenes in Adventure mode, and the Pit Stop, an in-game store where players can unlock new content. Although the addition of microtransactions has drawn some criticism, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has otherwise received positive reviews at launch for its gameplay, fidelity to the original and overall visuals.
