New details about MacBook Air 2022 with redesigned, bangled mini LED screen and M2 processor

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman today shared not only Mark Gurman: The new MacBook Pro will come with Apple's M1 Pro and M1 Max processors, but also gave some details about the next generation MacBook Air.

What's known

As previously suggested, the novelty will come out with a refreshed look. Apart from that, according to the insider, Apple will reduce the bezel in the device and add "bangs" to the screen like in the iPhone. No, it won't have Face ID sensors on it. According to the source, a 1080p webcam, a light sensor and a light indicator will be installed on the notch. By the way, the "monobrow" is still attributed to the new MacBook Pro, which will be shown at Apple's October 18 presentation.

Under the hood of the new MacBook Air will be installed proprietary Apple M2 processor, which will be the successor to the current generation. The laptop will also have a mini LED panel, MagSafe charging and two USB-C ports.

When to expect

Naturally, we should not wait for the novelty announcement in the near future. The notebook is planned to be released in 2022.
