At CES 2023 in Las Vegas, Razer showed a console for cloud gaming - Razer Edge.

Here's What We Know

The device is a tablet with removable Razer Kishi V2 Pro controllers. The gadget has a 6.8-inch display with AMOLED matrix, a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Running the console processor Qualcomm Snapdragon G3X Gen 1 with active cooling. The chip is specifically designed for gaming devices.

The Razer Edge comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. If desired, the built-in memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 2TB. The novelty also installed a 5-megapixel front camera with the ability to record 1080p video at 60fps and stereo speakers with microphones and support for THX Spatial Audio. The set-top box comes with the Android 12L operating system. The device supports the Google Play Store app store, as well as gaming cloud services Xbox Cloud Gaming, Nvidia GeForce Now, Steam Link and more.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Razer Edge will start selling in the U.S. on January 26. The novelty will be released in two versions: with Wi-Fi support for $399 and 5G support for $599.
