Huawei has introduced Sonar Messaging, a new feature for its premium Watch Ultimate 2 smartwatch that allows you to send messages underwater without using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or mobile data. This solution is aimed at divers and rescuers who work in environments where traditional data transmission methods are not available.
The main focus is on design: the device will be extremely thin - less than 7 mm, making it one of the thinnest smartphones on the market. Motorola has decided to abandon the traditional curved display shape of the Edge series and opted for a flat screen, which is in line with current trends.
The rear panel features a large camera sensor surrounded by a ring of lights - probably to improve portrait lighting or create a studio light effect. The smartphone is expected to support TurboPower fast charging, possibly with a capacity of over 125W. As for the processor, sources report two possible configurations: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 or MediaTek Dimensity 9300, depending on the market in which the device will be launched. The Edge 70 will run on Android 15 with Motorola's proprietary add-ons.
The smartphone is expected to be launched in October 2025. The device is targeted at the premium segment, but the company plans an aggressive pricing policy - lower than that of competitors from Apple and Samsung. This may make Edge 70 an attractive choice for those looking for a flagship with a sleek design and powerful hardware, but not ready to overpay for the brand.
MediaTek has released the Dimensity 7360 mobile processor, a mid-range processor with 5G support. Despite the new name, it is technically almost identical to the Dimensity 7300, which has sparked discussions among analysts about whether this is a real new product or just a rebranding. Usually, technically identical processors get a different name if the manufacturer has improved the quality of lithography over time and achieved stable operation of the chip at higher frequencies, but in this case, the frequencies remained at the same level.
The DLC will coincide with the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ashes
Vivo has launched its mid-budget smartphone, the Vivo V60 Lite 5G. This is a somewhat simplified model compared to the Vivo V60, which was announced last month. Despite the fact that the smartphone was released without a grand presentation, it was the debut of the Dimensity 7360 processor, which belongs to the updated mid-range Mediatek line.
The show will last 35 minutes!

On 23 September, Xiaomi introduced a special "gold" version of the Band 10 fitness bracelet, which not only performs useful functions but also looks beautiful. The strap is decorated with six honey-coloured crystals, each of which has ten facets. The manufacturer uses BOSS OSA products, and it is claimed that these crystals are of high quality.
The aluminium frame of the bracelet has a PVD coating, which makes it brighter and more resistant to external influences than the standard version. The hidden clasp does not impair the aesthetic appearance.
