Following the closure of The Crew, a racing simulation game, Ubisoft was sued, accusing the company of misleading players about "permanent ownership" of the game. Although Ubisoft insists that customers have always only received a licence for the game, the new amendments to the lawsuit from the players focus on California's digital rights laws.
