The U.S. will send 18 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine as part of a $1.1 billion military aid package

The United States will give Ukraine an additional $1.1 billion in weapons. The new military aid package includes multiple-launch rocket systems, shells, anti-drone weapons and vehicles.

Here's What We Know

Naturally, the main item in the new package is multiple rocket launchers. The United States will transfer 18 M142 HIMARS systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine at once. This is not two more than in the previous three months.

Thus, the Ukrainian Defense Forces will have 34 M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems from the United States, six M270 MLRS from Great Britain and five MARS II from Germany. Provided that Ukraine has not lost a single multiple rocket launcher in three months. The full salvo is 336 rounds.
