Apple Watch Series 7 - Big display, fast charging and new features from $399

Following iPad 9 and iPad mini 6 the Cupertino-based company introduced the Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatch, which is not very different from its predecessors.

Features

Developers have reduced the screen frame around the display to 1.7 mm. According to the manufacturer, the screen accommodates 50% more text compared to the Apple Watch Series 6. Another innovation is a 70% increase in brightness in Always-on Display mode. Users are offered an all-new set of watch faces that make the most of the larger screen.

Apple has also added some new features to the Watch OS 8 operating system. The main new feature will appeal to cycling enthusiasts. The Apple Watch Series 8 can pause a workout when the user stops at a traffic light or simply takes a pause.

The case has IP6X protection, something no other Apple Watch can boast. The novelty is not afraid of falls in the sand and can withstand being submerged underwater to a depth of 50 m. According to the manufacturer, the battery life is 18 hours. The battery charges to 80% in 45 minutes.

Price

Everyone will be able to buy the smartwatch in gray, gold, red, blue and green case colors. The company offers an array of straps to suit any style.

The Apple Watch Series 7 will start at $399. Sales will begin in the fall. Additionally, the company notes that the Apple Watch Series SE is available from $279 and the Series 3 from $199.
