Apple Watch Ultra competitor: Huawei unveils Watch Ultimate smartwatch with diving function, LTPO AMOLED screen and up to 14 days battery life

Apart from the foldable Mate X smartphone, as well as the flagship P60, P60 Pro and P60 Art range, Huawei has also unveiled its top-of-the-range smartwatch.

Here's What We Know

The new product has been dubbed the Huawei Watch Ultimate and it's being positioned as a competitor to the Apple Watch Ultra. The watch has got two versions: Expedition Black with a rubber strap and Voyage Blue with a metal bracelet. The novelty boasts a large 1.5-inch round screen with an LTPO AMOLED matrix. The panel has an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 60Hz and a brightness of up to 1,000 nits.

The watch case is made of liquid zirconium-based metal. It has 16 water-resistant structures. Thanks to this, the watch can be submerged for up to 24 hours in water to a depth of 100 metres or 10 ATM. The gadget also supports many sport modes. The Huawei Watch Ultimate can track sleep, stress, SpO2 and heart rate. The watch has an expedition mode with dual-frequency GNSS positioning.

A 530mAh battery is responsible for run time. According to the manufacturer, the Huawei Watch Ultimate can last up to 14 days on a single charge. The watch supports fast wireless charging (from 0 to 100% in 60 minutes). The gadget comes with the proprietary Harmony OS operating system.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Huawei Watch Ultimate is already available in China for $880-1025. In Europe, the watch will appear on April 3. Global prices of new items are not yet available.
