Ukrainian soldiers captured a Russian T-80BV: we tell you what kind of tank it is and why it is interesting
Military analyst @UAWeapons said that Ukrainian defenders captured another good Russian trophy.
What are we talking about
We are talking about the T-80BV main battle tank. Soldiers got it in Kharkiv region. Judging by its exterior, the tank is in excellent condition. The machine will be checked and after that it will be put into service of the AFU.

For those who don't know
The T-80BV is a modernized version of the T-80B tank with a new set of hinged dynamic protection "Contact-1". The tank is equipped with a 125mm 2A46M-1 Rapira smoothbore gun. It is stabilized in the horizontal and vertical planes. The ammunition consists of 38 rounds. The T-80BV crew consists of three men. The tank weighs over 43 tons. Maximum road and cross-country speed is 70 km/h and 50 km/h respectively.
