GeekPro G5000 - Lenovo's cheapest gaming laptop with a 2.5K display at 165Hz, Intel Raptor Lake and GeForce RTX 4050 / 4060

Lenovo has unveiled the GeekPro G5000 laptop. It is the Chinese manufacturer's cheapest gaming laptop.

Here's What We Know

Lenovo offers customers two modifications. The first is equipped with an Intel Core i7-13700H chip and GeForce RTX 4060. The second variant gets Intel Core i-13500H and GeForce RTX 4050. The power consumption of the new generation graphics cards is 115W and 95W respectively.

Regardless of the modification, the Lenovo GeekPro G5000 is equipped with a 15.6" IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The refresh rate is 165Hz, the brightness is 350 nits and the sRGB colour gamut is 100%.

The notebook gets DDR5 type RAM at 5200 MHz and an SSD drive. The capacity is 16GB and 1TB respectively. The 60W*h battery supports 140W fast charging power via USB-C.

The manufacturer's recommended price for the Lenovo GeekPro G5000 with Core i7 chip and RTX 4060 was $1165. The cheaper variant (Core i5 + RTX 4050) costs $1020.
